FOR WHOM?

We’re open to all military veterans and their spouses. Master’s Program participants come from all types of companies and industries. We’re looking for veteran owned and led companies ready to grow their defensible and validated business model.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Our one year long program kicks off with an in-residence, six-week due diligence boot camp. A typical week would consist of approximately eight total hours a week. The time includes class on Mondays, mentor meetings on Tuesdays, one-on-ones with a PenFed Foundation VEIP Business Coach on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and mentor meetings on Fridays.

The boot camp centers around a rigorous weekly schedule with combined classes and mentorship to facilitate education, preparation, and overall due diligence.

Topics include traction, unit metrics, financials, legal, accounting, building a pitch deck, preparing for meetings with investors, and pitch preparation.

Each company is matched with a mentor for the duration of the program.

Companies receive mentorship, business coaching, access to subject matter experts and resources such as marketing, public relations, advertising throughout the program.

Companies will receive a $5,000 account to pay for professional services through verified vendors.

About ten weeks in, we host a deal day where all the startups can present their products and services to a specially selected audience of investors and press, connecting them to tangible capital to accelerate their business.

The Program is run at no cost to participants with the exception of travel and lodging.
