It’s difficult to imagine our business communities–particularly our Northern Virginia community–without the tremendous contributions of Veteran Entrepreneurs. Known as “Vetrepreneurs,” the decision to form a business continues a Veteran’s service impact through the creation of jobs, contributions to economic growth, and participation in community organizations and activities.

For this event we have gathered an impressive panel of Vetrepreneurs who will share insights on their own paths to business success and how being a Veteran drove their business vision.

Speakers: Laurie Buckhout, Chief Revenue Officer & Director, Castellum US, Tom Deierlein, Co-founder and CEO, ThunderCat Technology, Seda Atam Goff, Director of Veteran Entrepreneurship, PenFed, Erik Wittreich, CEO, Ridgeline International, Inc

Our panel will share business lessons learned, including:
•Establishing a business: where to start?
•Critical milestones that must be addressed as a business grows
•Strategic decisions: what are some of their successes and failures
•How military service can impact business culture
•Leadership techniques that foster an engaged and productive workforce
